Andy Williams Birthplace
102 E. 1st Street · W, IA 51466

The 1930s-era birthplace of Andy Williams was restored in 1998 along with a visit from Andy himself and most of his family. He helped celebrate the grand opening o the birthplace with the signing of his most famous tune, "Moon River." Andy's house is filled with memorabilia, photos, and memories. The house is generally open weekends between Memorial Day and Labor Day from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. or by appointment.

Sauk Rail Trail
Lake Black Hawk · W, IA 51450

The 33-mile Sauk Rail Trail connects Black Hawk Lake State Park in Wall Lake with Swan Lake State Park in Carroll County. Trail passes are required (18+) for users, at $1.00 per day or $15.00 per year; they are available at the trailheads or from the Sac County Conservation Board. The trail website outlines the communities along the 33-mile trail.
